SELLERS

DISTRICT ATTORNEY

SELLERS
(Earnestly.)

But it would lead to it.

DISTRICT ATTORNEY

Never mind what it would lead to, answer his question.

SELLERS
(Impatiently.)

I'm talking to that Gentleman.

(Pointing to DUFFER.)

I'm not talking to you.

DUFFER

She seemed insane; how did she manifest it?

SELLERS

She said she was sorry she killed him.

DISTRICT ATTORNEY

I should think so!

DUFFER

But did she rave?

SELLERS

Rave? I never saw anything like it. She tried to kill herself twice within ten minutes. We thought she would die, she's got heart disease, yes sir, heart disease.

(SELLERS then turns to jury and begins to talk.)

[Gentlemen, you've no idea—

CLERK]
