Welcome!
Singers, comics, actors, athletes, and even models, have opportunities to enter their professions on an amateur level or to work locally as a professional. From there, they can ascend the ladder of success. But what about novelists? The uninitiated would think that aspiring novelists could work their way up by writing for magazines or newspapers. But seasoned journalists will tell you their professional experience carries little weight when trying to sell their first novel.
A novelist is either published or not. Print-on-demand and self-publishing are the only options for novelists to try to "break through" on their own. Otherwise, it is an endless task of query writing and sample chapter submissions to agents and editors.
IncWell created the iPULP WRITERS GALLERY in an effort to allow aspiring novelists to gather a national following, receive feedback, and hopefully get noticed by agents and editors.
NOTICE: This section of iPulp is for adults. While iPulp does not allow the posting of erotic literature, the Writer's Gallery is for adult fiction. Works may contain adult language and situations.
Readers: Readers 18 and over can browse the library, sort titles by genre, mark favorites, rate the books, and send the authors comments. Readers can register by clicking the READER'S ENTRANCE. A note to all readers: when writing a comment to an author, remember that your comments should be fair and helpful to the author. Whether you like something or or dislike it, be sure to give the reason why.
Writers: This is not your typical writer's forum where writers critique other writers. This site is for writers who have completed a work and need to build and identify an audience. It is meant to give you real world experience in promoting your book. By building an identifiable online audience, a writer can show agents and publishers evidence that they will have what it takes to promote a book when it is published. To register as a writer and begin posting your work, click the WRITER'S ENTRANCE.
Writers may post short stories, scripts, volumes of poetry, or entire novels. A work can be withdrawn at any time, and its copyright is always displayed. Writiers will be able to view reader's comments and track ratings by a variety of demographics. A note to new writers: don't take any one comment or criticism, good or bad, to heart. However, you should look for trends. If several readers make the same comment, you can trust that what is being said is probably valid.
While we rely on advertising to support this site, the pages are designed to minimize their impact.
Thank you for visiting the iPULP WRITERS GALLERY.
